Everybody's looking for something. Mary Ann is looking for the real Beirut, whatever that means. These are the photos she takes along the way.
You can browse around the archives here or check out her other blogs. There's one from a few years ago, back when she blogged about art. And then there's another from '09 when she lived in St. Louis (USA).
I'm sure you're right.
ReplyDeleteImprovisation is the only way to go.
Are you freezing up there today?
Yes! But I welcome it. Finally a proper feel of winter. Made me quite thankful for a hot cup of chocolate earlier today.
ReplyDeleteYour comment sounds like something from a Charles Dickens novel. In a good way.
ReplyDeleteLovely sage colored wonky shades. And I can smell the lemon-scented geraniums too...
ReplyDeleteCiao
Great photo-I love shutters that are really used to shut out light (it seems that Americans only have decorative shutters, nice but not useful).
ReplyDeleteInteresting shots of windows and many nice details.
ReplyDeleteThey do have more character that way - wonderful photo! Beirut seems to be a treasure box for great photography!
ReplyDeleteBon weekend
Me either. Some of the buildings in the various photos remind me of Buenos Aires.
