The metal work on the railing is nice too. A shame though that grills over windows are a necessity.

ReplyDeleteI think there was a time when the were definitely necessary--like during the war. And the thing about security measures is that once you have them in place you begin to feel like you can't let them go.
ReplyDeleteNone of the newer buildings have grills like this.
