Purple is not a common color in Beirut.
Still, I might not have noticed these shutters had I not taken their picture only a week earlier, back before they were purple.
I liked the color progression. And now that it's purple, I like that too.

It's funny how things change before our eyes.
ReplyDeleteI like the purple best. Great that you got some before and afters.
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone is having an identity crisis...
ReplyDeleteI like the purple too, it blends nicely with the walls and the green shutters.
ReplyDeleteHm, I prefer the older red - blue combination :-) But hey, it's not my house.
ReplyDeleteI took the original (pre-purple) photo because of the amazing color progression from green to red to blue. Although all three colors are common in Beirut, seeing them all mashed up together was different, new.
ReplyDeleteSo it's strange that although purple is unusual and novel it took away the variety of the original . . . so I don't think I like it as much.
Great colours; brightens things up a bit, doesn't it?
