Reddish wall, green doors and plants. And textures, textures everywhere. I like how the white is really clean looking, bright and unbroken.
The squarish design in the iron balustrade is somewhat unusual in Beirut, which makes it all the more interesting to me.

Lovely balcony. They really know how to decorate!
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteOh, Mary Ann, that is so pretty! For some reason it reminds me of Miami. It must be the art deco railing and the plants. I like everything about this photo. I hope the people who live there get to enjoy their balcony in the mornings and evenings.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've heard comparisons between Beirut and Miami in a bunch of different places. It's fun to think about it.
DeleteIt's a nice view of a private balcony. I wish I had something like that to have my morning coffee on!
ReplyDeleteIf it was overlooking a garden, I'd have to agree. But this balcony is above a busy street. Maybe it would still be ok for morning coffee, if the sun was just right.
DeleteWhat I like is all those matching pipes and cables and wires! Maybe it's just an optical illusion, but they all look like they've had a coat of the same red paint.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Pam, they probably were painted to match. . . .
