This is one of my favorite houses along the walk to my kids' school.
I'm an American Mid-westerner, accustomed to long, cold winters. It is with that legacy in mind that the second-story windows thrown wide fill me with a deep sense of contentment.

The scroll work on the windows is really quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow! Are all the houses that beautiful? I loved San Diego winters too, we left our windows open all year round- so nice! Now we have the other extreme; subzero weather in the winter and summers that are not long enough;)
ReplyDeleteThat would be my favorite house en route to school, too! No mosquito nets either I guess! It's 26 degrees Fahrenheit here in suburban Minnesota!
