A Palace

Palace isn't too strong a word, is it? I mean, it is very grand--too grand to be just a house.

I didn't even know it was there until the other day when I was out wandering through Clemenceau looking for a nice picture. Such a beauty, I thought to myself, a hidden treasure.

  2. I am amazed to see all the gems you are coming across! I love that there is so much color on the architecture. Peter the Great mandated that all buildings be colorful in St. Petersburg, probably because it was otherwise a very dismal place (it was a swamp land when it was fist settled)...Thanks for sharing!

  3. I agree with the label "treasure chest". This probably used to be a grand home of some Frenchman but could now be divided into apartments. That is what happens here. We were not settled by the French, but the English had the same mindset. Not a lot of that colour combination here though.
