ReplyDeleteLovely photo-- there are so many different scraps of wood holding this door together. A nice contrast with the sturdiness of the rock wall surrounding it.

ReplyDeleteIt has turned into a lovely weathered colour, Mary Ann. Often stain and varnish is to the detriment of the wood itself.
